We'll move your newsletter off Substack. Properly.
The CSV export is the easy 10%. The other 90% is the part that costs you subscribers if it's done wrong: paid subscriptions that don't transfer themselves, archive links that die and take your SEO with them, welcome automations that vanish, and a brand-new sending domain that lands in spam because nobody warmed it up.
We do the whole thing. You keep writing; one issue goes out on the old platform, the next goes out on the new one.
What "properly" means: subscribers moved with engagement history preserved · paid subscribers migrated via Stripe without re-subscribing where the platforms allow it · archive moved with redirects so old links keep working · welcome sequence rebuilt · sending domain authenticated (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and warmed over two weeks · a rollback plan agreed before anything moves.
How it works
1. You send us your setup. Platform, roughly how many subscribers, paid or free, and where you're headed (usually beehiiv — see why people move — but we've done Kit and Ghost too). We usually reply within one business day with a flat quote and a timeline.
2. We migrate in the background. Typically one to two weeks end-to-end, most of which is deliberately slow deliverability warm-up. You approve the go-live moment.
3. Two weeks of aftercare. Deliverability monitoring, automation fixes, and the odd subscriber who did something strange. Included.
What it costs
A flat fee, quoted up front once we've seen your setup — the price depends on list size, whether you have paid subscribers, and how much archive needs redirecting. No percentages, no surprises, and if we look at your setup and think you should just do it yourself, we'll say so and point you at the checklist below.
When you shouldn't hire us
Honestly: a free newsletter under a couple of thousand subscribers with no automations is a Saturday-morning job you can do yourself — export, import, update your link-in-bio, done. Read the alternatives guide, pick your platform with the quiz, and keep your money. This service exists for lists where mistakes are expensive: paid subscribers, real archives, sponsor commitments.
Get a quote: one email with your platform, list size, and whether you have paid subscribers. We usually reply within one business day with a flat price — or with "do it yourself, here's how."
